Turn text into speech in a few clicks, no technical skills needed. Just follow the 6 steps below.
Create audio in 6 steps
1. Sign in
Click Try it at the top, then Continue with Google and pick your Gmail account. No separate password, no card needed. New accounts get 1,000 free characters to try it out.
2. Pick a language, paste your text
On the Text to speech page, first choose the Reading language (Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean...), then paste or type your text into the large box. Up to 5,000 characters at a time (about 2 pages). The number of credits it will use is shown below the box. Not sure what to type? Click Sample text for a paragraph in the chosen language. If your text looks like another language, the page offers a Read in … button to switch.
3. Choose a voice
Click the Voice box to open the list: it shows the native voices for the chosen language, plus any voices you cloned. Filter by Male / Female (and for Vietnamese, by Northern / Central / Southern accent), click ▶ to preview, then click a voice to pick it. The page remembers your choice next time.
4. Adjust the speed (optional)
The default is 1x. For older listeners or lessons, choose 0.75x. For short, snappy videos, choose 1.25x. Leave the format on MP3; it works for almost everything.
5. Click Generate audio
Short texts are ready in a few seconds. Long texts show a progress bar and the time remaining; you can close the page and the audio will still be made and saved under History.
6. Listen and download
The audio plays as soon as it is ready. Click Download to save the file to your computer or phone, then use it in videos, lessons, audiobooks... If something is read wrongly, click Feedback on this audio to let us know.
Tips for better-sounding audio
Use punctuation for pauses
A comma gives a short pause, a full stop a longer one. A blank line between paragraphs gives an even longer pause.
Numbers, dates and percentages
You usually don't need to spell them out: numbers, percentages and currency are read the way each language says them, so “25%” is read as a percentage and, in Vietnamese, “1.500.000 đồng” is read out in full. If one comes out wrong, write it in words.
Names and abbreviations
If a name or abbreviation is mispronounced, write it the way it sounds, or check that the Reading language matches your text.
Very long texts
Split them into parts under 5,000 characters each (for example one chapter at a time), then join the files in a video or audio editor.
Copying from a PDF
Text copied from a PDF sometimes has broken characters or line breaks in the middle of sentences. Skim through it before generating to avoid misreadings.
Buy credits
Pay with a bank QR code
- Click Top up on the balance card (left sidebar), or open Buy credits.
- Choose a package and click Buy. The PayOS payment page opens with a QR code.
- Open your banking app, choose Scan QR and make the transfer. No need to change the amount or the message.
- Wait a few seconds: the page returns to VoiceWrap and your credits are added right away.
Payment is in VND through Vietnamese banking apps. Credits never expire. If you have paid but see no credits after 5 minutes, click the Feedback button to let us know.
Create your own voice
Clone a voice from a short recording
- Record 5 to 15 seconds on your phone in a quiet place, speaking clearly and naturally.
- Open My voices, give the voice a name and choose the recording.
- Type exactly, word for word, what you said in the recording (mistakes make the cloned voice worse).
- Tick the confirmation box and click Add voice. The new voice appears in the voice list and can read all 11 languages.
Only use your own voice or the voice of someone who has given permission. Do not clone celebrities or anyone else without their consent.
FAQ
What is a credit, and how many do I need?
1 credit = 1 character (spaces included). A page of text is about 3,000 characters, roughly 3 minutes of audio. The smallest package, ₫25,000, gives you 100,000 characters, enough for about 30 pages.
Which languages can VoiceWrap read?
11 languages: Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. Each has its own native voices, and each voice reads only its own language: choose the Reading language first and the voice list shows that language's voices. Voices you clone yourself can read all 11.
Do I lose credits if generation fails?
No. If something goes wrong, your credits are refunded automatically. You can check your balance in the left sidebar.
Can I post the audio on YouTube or TikTok, or sell audiobooks?
Yes, you may use the audio commercially. Do not use it to impersonate other people or to deceive anyone.
Where are my earlier audio files?
Under History, which keeps your 50 most recent generations. Click play to listen again.
Can Claude turn text into speech for me?
Yes. In Claude (claude.ai or the Claude Desktop app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://voicewrap.app/api/mcp, click Connect, sign in with Google and click Allow. Then just ask Claude, for example: “Read this paragraph in the Ngọc Huyền voice”.
Do I get a reward for referring friends?
Yes. Open Refer friends, copy your link and send it to friends. Friends who sign up through it get 2,000 extra characters, and every time they buy credits you receive 20% of the characters they buy, for life.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Open the website in your phone's browser (Chrome, Safari...) and everything works just like on a computer.
Still have questions?
